[ Once he's dressed properly and made himself presentable, he departs for Cyril's ship. He stops in front of the closed door, rapping on it with his knuckles before letting himself in.

Of course he'd heard the announcement- he didn't know Lumiere, though he had spoken to Cogsworth once or twice. Those two had quite the unfortunate affliction. ]

How are you feeling?

[He lets Dorian in and goes to pour them both a glass of something to drink without even asking Dorian if he'd want some.]

Sad. And that's annoying, because I know my friend would be frustrated that that's the emotion his disappearance brings to mind.

[It says something that he doesn't lie or cover up his true feelings with Dorian. If anyone else, save perhaps Leilani, he'd probably pretend he was fine.]

[ Dorian helps himself to the edge of the bed and lets Cyril go through the motions. Of course he's never been one to say no to a drink, and this instance feels like he should allow the man the courtesy of doing it. ]

I believe you're allowed to miss a friend who is gone. Even though it's perhaps better this way.. it still does not help those left behind, hm?

It doesn't. Despite the logical part of my mind telling me that I'm being silly.

[Cyril offers him the glass and then holds up his own.]

A toast then? To the friends we've made here?

Emotions are pesky, brutish things, aren't they?

[ Dorian takes the offered glass, clinking it gently against Cyril's in a toast. ]

Hopefully they last longer than we may think.

[At the talk about emotions being pesky things, Cyril eyes linger on Dorian's face a second too long and he has to cover it up by drinking deeply of his cup.]

Hopefully they last at least as long as we aren't sick of flying through a vacuum. [Vacuum, a new word he wouldn't even know if he wasn't here. Such a strange thing to realize.]

Though I can't complain for the view. [And that line is said flirtatiously, because flirting is distraction and he likes distraction.]

[ They're entirely too intimate with how emotions should rather not be trifled with. If Cyril's focus stays on him a bit too long, he doesn't mention it. He busies his time and attention to tending to his own glass of wine. ]

Or at least long enough that we cease being trapped in it.

[ Dorian's laugh is light and airy, his expression changing to something more amenable to the situation. Now this? This he can do. ]

I should certainly hope not.

Would it be terrible to admit I called you over here in hopes of seeing as much of you as possible?

[He doesn't want Dorian to think he only wants to have sex with him, but sex is the best distraction.]

[ Sex happens to be one of the things that Dorian is best at. He smirks easily, head tilting to one side. ]

Terrible? Hardly. Why deny yourself the opportunity when it's presented to you?

Because I think of you as more than a bed warmer? Though you do an excellent job at that, I don't want you to feel as if that's all I want from you.

If that was the only thing I thought you wanted from me, we would skip the pleasantries.

[samahl]

[He smiles, touched by that idea, and then chuckles gently.] I'll probably hold you to that sometime. It sounds lovely.

My door is always open to you, of course.

You are almost as eager as I am. It makes me lament the time we spent on the Fleet before we began this... whatever it is that we're doing.

[Bleh. Labels. Who needs them?] It's good to know we can make up for lost time.

Precisely so. [ Who needs labels? They're just in it for the sex, right? ]

Speaking of...

[He moves closer, clearly wanting to go in for a kiss.]

[ Well, how can he misinterpret that? Dorian is more than happy to oblige, his hands resting on Cyril's hips. ]

[samahl]

[Cyril lets himself enjoy the kiss, drawing it out for as long as he could. He is letting himself treasure Dorian for a bit.

When he pulls away he smiles at Dorian.]

Bed?

Insatiable. [ Not that he's complaining, really. He pulls Cyril back toward the bed with him. ]

You're acting as if anyone could have enough of you. [He teases, certainly pleased to have Dorian pull him.]

I've been told on occasion that I can be a bit much to handle.

[ Of course, it wasn't quite the same words, but being in Tevinter, one had to learn how to read between the lines. ]

They're wrong, naturally, or at the very least have horrid taste.

I hope I've never given you reason to think I have horrid taste.

[He speaks as he also paws a bit at Dorian, wanting to start getting them both naked.]

[ Thankfully getting undressed isn't a complicated endeavor, today. Dorian is starting to have quite the affinity for modern clothing. He slides his hands under Cyril's shirt, traveling up his back. ]

None whatsoever.

[samahl]

Oh. Good.

[He replies with a grin, though he seems way more concerned with pulling off clothes and trailing his fingers over Dorian's skin.]
