[ He begins directing the two of them toward the shuttle, though. ]

Dinner?

[ Dorian's expression flicks briefly to one of surprise. Disbelief, even. Dinner out with friends was one thing, but being seen in public with another man, clearly on a date? No one has ever.. He covers the disbelief with a suave and carefree smile. ]

I'll see to it that my point is thoroughly undebatable.

Yeah. [ He caught that, Dorian, but he's not going to point it out. That would ruin the evening. ]

Hey, what'd I tell you last time? I'd get you a present, right?

I assume dinner is the present?

[ Because there couldn't possibly be more. Bull was already taking him to the theater, too. Anything else seems like a bit much. ]

[ Bull smiles, but shakes his head slightly.]

Nope. If you think about what we were talking about, you'd get what the present is.

We talked about a great many things, Bull. If it is what I think, then I'm flattered.

[ He smirks as he pulls the door to the shuttle closed. ]

Yeah? What do you think it is?

[ Dorian settles into his seat, scrutinizing Bull's face. ]

I see you're wearing the shade we discussed.

[ He smiles, nodding as he sets in their destination. ]

Yeah. Glad I asked about the time of day shit, though.

[ Cool. So the after-party rope will still be a surprise. ]

I wouldn't have held it against you, had you not been informed. There are far worse crimes of fashion around here.

[ It's very sweet that Bull did remember and took everything to heart. He's not used to people listening to what he says too deeply. ]

[ He's worn more than a few of them. ]

Okay, so. There's this place where there were theater tickets that include a pre-show dinner. So, that's what's going on.

[ They're an abomination and must be stopped and you know it! ]

I can't remember the last time I went to dinner and a show. That was very.. thoughtful, thank you.

Me and the boys don't get out to the theater often.

[ He smiles. ]

Besides. We do most of our work in Orlais...and nobody but Orlesians want Orleasian theater. So...hopefully this isn't like that.

Maker, you're right about that. I certainly hope it's nothing of the sort, I haven't imbibed enough alcohol for that.

I know, right? [ He shakes his head. ] The masks the...weird interpretive dance. But hey, dinner's first, so we can prepare.

There's no subtlety in Orlesian theater, not with whatever it is they're trying to get across.

So where is dinner, exactly? [ Should he have brought his emergency spices? ]

A place that does a lot of fish, it's just next door to the theater.

[ He shrugs. ]

It smelled good when I went by.

I'm certainly willing to give it a try.

[ He is all dressed up, after all. ]

...you don't hate fish, do you?

Bull. I grew up on the coast, of course I like fish.

Right. [ He nods, easily covering up his momentary uncertainty with a laugh. ]

Well, there were a couple options with the tickets, but I haven't had good fish in a long time.

Oh, neither have I. I believe it's been about four or five months? Possibly more. There was a passable restaurant on the beach of one of the previous planets.

Sometimes the fishers in northern Ferelden get lucky out on the Waking Sea, catch something in the wrong waters, but it's usually too rough for much fishing. An in got lucky once, but...

[ He shrugs. ]

That was a couple years ago.
