[Cyril's room has drawings and diagrams all of the walls. He's working on a prosthetic that will allow him to use a bow again, and his room seems to be consumed with that idea.
He himself seems a pretty as ever, even though his clothes are a bit more casual than normal.
He frowns just a bit at the question and moves his hand to where he had been injured.]
Not as well as I would have liked. I'm hoping this will help, but I need someone else to look it over.
[ Dorian's eyes linger on the hand that covers the injury, expression briefly one of concern. They made it out, they're alive, and there's not much he can do to relieve the pain for Cyril. Once again, he resolves to try and learn some healing magic at some point.
His attention turns to the various sheets lining the walls, taking in the minute details and the scribbled notes on the design. It's certainly an all-consuming thing, but he can hardly be blamed for it, can he? ]
I can't figure out how to get it to register pressure. When I use a bow, I need to know how tight it feels. I was thinking if I could rig it to squeeze me in response, but figuring out how to balance that is....
[He rubs the back of his neck in thought.] I think I just need someone with a sharp mind to walk through the design with and figure out what's making it not work.
[Then, after a moment.] Someone with both hands would be helpful too. [There's something a little dark in his face when he admits this part aloud.]
